I raise my hand full knowing that I will fail. It is no fault of my own, the wizard's guild is required to consider my entrance to the academy, but they will never select someone not from a recognized minority. I am white, I am male, and these are marks against me. When so many apply and so few are taken, those of perceived disadvantage are always taken first.
